My Book Sources
I've been getting a few comments and messages from people wondering what book sources I use. So here's a list. I do use internet sources a lot, but I have tons of books I recommend. I am not claiming these sources are perfect or have tons of information on every subject. That's why I use more than one. The sources underlined are hard to find as they are most likely no longer in production due to their age or other reasons.
Sources I use a lot:
Hammond Historical Atlas vol. 1 and 2
D.K. Historical Atlas of the World
Sources I use a lot depending on the subject:
Military Atlas of World War Two by Chris Bishop
World War I by H.P. Willmott
A History of Modern Germany 1840 - 1945 by Hajo Holborn
Smithsonian: The Civil War: a Visual History
Battle: A Visual Journey Through 5000 Years of Combat by R.G. Grant
The Korean War by Max Hastings
Sources I don't use too much, but still use:
Atlas of World History by John Haywood
Overall, I prefer Hammond, National Geographic, and D.K. over most other book sources. This list will be updated. Feel free to post any questions.
